If your a teenager that needs help on talking to their parents about having a later curfew, these are some steps you should follow:
Step 1:
Make sure your parents are in a good mood to talk to
so you can ask to talk to them about your curfew
tell them why you don’t want to go to sleep early or
why you deserve to stay up later.
Step 2:
Sit your parents down in a quiet room so there are
no distractions so you and your parents can hear
each other out, both you and your parents should
listen before you interrupt each other give your parents
the same respect you want when you're talking.
Step 3:
Make sure you know what you want to say to your parents
so when it's time to talk you already know what to say
and say it clearly so your parents can understand you
perfectly about why you want a later curfew.
Step 4:
Once you know what you are going to say, say it loud and
clear so your parents can understand you and at the same
time act innocent and don’t push your parents into agreeing
with you or you might make things worse.
Step 5:
Once you have said everything to your parents make sure
you don’t end up right there, instead of letting them talk back
finish up with something strong that you can come up with
and once you have finished completely wait to see what they
are going to say.
